"What's the fastest car in CSR2?" is one of the most-asked questions in the game, and the honest answer has two halves nobody likes to say together: here are the record holders, and no, you probably can't just go buy them. The outright quickest cars in CSR Racing 2 are trophies, rare crate pulls and event prizes that most players never own. This guide names the fastest in each tier, explains why they're so hard to get, and, just as usefully, why the fastest car isn't always the one that wins you races.

What "fastest" actually means

Fastest in CSR2 means the lowest quarter-mile time (best ET) a car can post when fully built, Stage 6, full fusions and a perfect tune. It's not the same as PP, and it's not fixed: new cars and new records arrive constantly, so any list is a snapshot. The record holders, tier by tier

As a snapshot of where the records sit (treat these as the bar, not gospel, since they move):

• Tier 5. The Chevrolet "Sick Seconds" Camaro has long been the benchmark at around 6.6 seconds, but the very top of T5 is a genuine fight, cars like the Rimac Nevera, Czinger 21C and various special-edition Bugattis trade the crown, and exotic entries like the Hoonigan Indy Truck have posted times in the low 6.5s range. The T5 record is the one that changes most often.
• Tier 1. The Ford Mustang Boss 302 sits at the top with full-build runs around 11.55 seconds, quick enough that it's a genuine prize even at the bottom of the ladder.
• Tiers 2 to 4. These rotate enough that a printed number would be stale within a season, so check the tier tabs on the records sheet for the current leaders.

The catch: the fastest cars are the hardest to get

Here's the part the "top 10 fastest" videos skip. The outright quickest cars are almost never dealership buys. They're crate exclusives pulled at brutal odds, or event and Showdown prizes, and Showdown cars are always purple-star, the rarest tier in the game, gone once the event ends. That's the whole reason they're fast and prized: scarcity is the point. Fastest is not the same as best

Worth saying plainly: the fastest car on paper is not automatically the car you should race. Record times come from perfect lab runs. In a live race you get one attempt, and a twitchy record car you fumble loses to a forgiving car you drive cleanly every time. How to actually get a fast car

You have three routes. Grind the crates and events and hope the odds land your car, expensive in time and luck. Spend in the in-game store on keys and gold, then still gamble on crate odds.
